Finely Handcrafted Buddha Shakyamuni Statue for Spiritual Guidance

We have masterfully hand-carved the Buddha Shakyamuni statue in the traditional Himalayan style. The statue is crafted from a copper body and gilded with 24k genuine gold, which highlights the intricate design patterns of the statue. Here, the Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted serenely sitting on a moon disc lotus seat, carrying an alms bowl over his lap on his left hand. His right hand can be seen performing the 'Bhumisparsa mudra,' which represents the exact moment Buddha attained enlightenment as he claimed the earth as his witness for it. We used hammers and chisels to carve the intricate designs over the figure over the course of several months.Siddhartha Gautama most commonly referred to as the Buddha ('the awakened one') was a wandering ascetic and religious teacher who lived in the eastern Indo-Gangetic Plains during the 6th or 5th century BCE and founded Buddhism. According to Buddhist legends, he was born in Lumbini, in what is now Nepal, to royal parents of the Shakya clan, but renounced his home life to live as a wandering ascetic. After leading a life of mendicancy, asceticism, and meditation, he attained nirvana at Bodh Gaya in what is now Bihar, India. The Buddha then wandered through the lower Indo-Gangetic Plain, teaching and building a monastic order (sangha). Buddhist tradition holds he died in Kushinagar (in modern day Uttar Pradesh, India) and reached parinirvana ("final release from conditioned existence").In Tibetan Buddhism, the idea of Buddha is broader than simply referring to the historical person Siddhartha Gautama (often called Gautama Buddha). It includes many enlightened beings and different “bodies” or aspects of Buddhahood.Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama was Buddha's original name. Only when he became the Buddha was he given the name Shakyamuni Buddha means "awakened one" in Sanskrit. He carries an alms bowl filled with three priceless nectars in his left hand, signifying his victory over the three demons of uncontrollable death, polluted aggregates, and delusion.
